St Luke's Hospice, Health Care Assistant evenings 20 hours a week contract
 
  • have an NVQ in Adult Health & Social Care/The Care Certificate, and experience of working in a community setting 
  • be looking for a career in a CQC OUTSTANDING Hospice Community Service    
  • be a car owner & driver
  • be able to work 18.00 to 22.00, 5 evenings a week including at the weekend 
  • £8.51 an hour, free DBS check, free uniform, fully paid induction
  • flexible working, guaranteed hours for experienced very reliable people
  • role with responsibility and autonomy
  • additional specialist training
  • work as part of a caring and very supportive team

  • have an NVQ in Health & Social Care/Care Certificate, experience of working in a community homecare setting 
  • want to work in a CQC OUTSTANDING Hospice Community Service    
  • be a car owner & driver
  • be able to work every weekend    
  • be totally reliable and highly committed  
  • Free DBS check, free uniform, fully paid induction, childcare voucher scheme, workplace pension 
  • £9.55 an hour, very supportive colleagues, and 24/7 support 
  • guaranteed hours contracts for most experienced & reliable people
  • additional specialist training

Health Care Assistant, Adult Team
 
  • be patient and kind with genuine interest in caring for adults & older people, able to understand their needs, previous experience not required  
  • able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • car owner driver preferred, will consider walkers & people with bikes  
  • able to work some evenings & weekends, must be reliable & dedicated

 

  • comprehensive induction and training, support to complete the Care Certificate 
  • on the job training & job shadowing to support you in your role
  • free enhanced DBS check, free uniform, fully paid induction (approx. £350) 
  • very supportive team and access 24/7 on call support from Care Mangers
  • good career progression - Care Supervisor, Care Manager

  • Minimum hourly rate £8.32 an hour including contact allowance, enhancements for evenings, weekends &BH

College Learner Support Worker - term time only Thurrock campus
 
  • Have a genuine interest in supporting students with additional needs attending College
  • Have good numeracy, literacy and IT skills
  • Be able to support students in the classroom to achieve their academic goals and develop their social skills
  • Confident to provide personal care in a discreet manner    
  • Term time only work to fit in with your family
